Isaiah 62

Gen Z: Isaiah 62

1For Zion’s sake, I’m not gonna chill, and for Jerusalem’s sake, I won’t rest till the vibes shine bright, and the salvation’s lit like a lamp.

2The nations gonna peep your rizz, and all the kings will see your glow up: you’ll get a fresh name, straight from the Lord’s mouth.

3You’ll be a crown of glory in the Lord’s hand, and a royal flex in the hands of your God.

4No more calling you Forsaken; your land won’t be Desolate anymore: you’ll be Hephzi–bah, and your land Beulah, ‘cause the Lord’s got mad love for you, and your land’s about to be blessed.

5Just like a young dude marries his girl, your sons gonna marry you: and like the bridegroom vibes over his bride, your God’s gonna pop off over you.

6I’ve got watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem, who won’t stop grinding day or night: you who mention the Lord, don’t stay quiet,

7And give Him no chill, till He sets things right, and makes Jerusalem the GOAT of praises on earth.

8The Lord’s flexin’ with His right hand and strong arm, saying, “No cap, I won’t let your corn feed your enemies anymore; the strangers ain’t drinking your wine, which you worked hard for.”

9But those who gathered it will munch and praise the Lord; and those who brought it will sip it in my holy courts.

10Roll through, roll through the gates; prepare the way for the people; lift up, lift up the highway; clear the stones; raise a flag for the people.

11Yo, the Lord’s shouting to the ends of the earth, “Tell the daughter of Zion, your salvation’s on the way; His reward’s with Him, and His work’s ahead.”

12They’ll call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and you’ll be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

KJV: Isaiah 62

1For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi–bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

5For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

6I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

7And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

9But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

11Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

12And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
