Gen Z: Psalms 80
Yo, Shepherd of Israel, you leadin' Joseph like a squad; chillin' between the cherubim, shine bright, fam.
Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, flex your strength and come save us, no cap.
Bring us back, God, make your face glow; we'll be vibin' saved.
O Lord of hosts, how long you gonna be mad at your peeps' prayers?
You feed them tears like bread, and they’re drinkin’ all the feels, fr.
You made us a vibe check for our neighbors, and our enemies are laughing, sus.
Bring us back, God of hosts, make your face glow; we’ll be saved, periodt.
You brought a vine outta Egypt, kicked out the haters, and planted it, lit.
You prepped the land for it, made it take deep roots, and it’s fillin’ the scene.
The hills got shaded by it, and its branches are looking like those dope cedars.
It sent out its branches to the sea, and its vibes to the river.
Why’d you break down its walls, so everyone passing by is plucking it?
The wild boar is trashing it, and the beasts out here are devouring it, savage.
Come back, we’re begging you, God of hosts: look down from heaven, check on this vine;
And the vineyard your right hand planted, the branch you made strong for yourself.
It’s burned up, cut down: they’re fading at your disapproval, no cap.
Keep your hand on the man you got right, the son of man you made strong for yourself.
We ain't bouncin' back from you: revive us, and we’ll call on your name, bet.
Bring us back, O Lord God of hosts, make your face shine; we’ll be saved.
