Gen Z: Psalms 105
Yo, give thanks to the Lord; hit him up and flex his deeds to the squad.
Sing to him, drop some fire psalms; chat about all his dope works.
Flex in his holy name; let the vibes of those who seek the Lord be lit.
Go after the Lord and his strength; keep seeking his face, no cap.
Remember all the wild stuff he’s done; his wonders and the truth he spoke.
Yo, you fam of Abraham, his servant; you children of Jacob, the chosen ones.
He’s our Lord, no doubt; his judgments are everywhere, fr.
He’s got his covenant on lock forever, the word he dropped for a thousand generations.
That covenant he made with Abraham and his promise to Isaac;
And he confirmed that vibe to Jacob as a law, and to Israel as a forever covenant.
God was like, "I got you with the land of Canaan, that's your vibe now."
They were just a few peeps, like super low-key and kinda strangers in the land.
They bounced from one nation to another, switching up kingdoms like it’s nothing.
No cap, God didn’t let anyone mess with them; He even checked kings for their sake.
He said, "Don’t touch my crew and keep my prophets safe, periodt."
Then He sent a famine on the land, breaking the whole bread game.
He sent Joseph ahead of them, who got sold like some low-key servant.
They hurt his feet with chains; dude was stuck in iron, fr.
Until the time his word dropped, the Lord was testing him hard.
The king came through and set him free; even the ruler was like, "You good now."
He made him the boss of his crib, and ruler of all his stuff:
To flex his homies at will; and drop some wisdom on his crew.
Israel rolled up to Egypt; and Jacob was chillin' in the land of Ham.
And he leveled up his squad big time; made them stronger than their haters.
He switched their vibes to hate his crew, being shady with his servants.
He sent Moses, his ride-or-die; and Aaron, the one he picked.
They showed off his signs among them, and wild wonders in the land of Ham.
He dropped darkness, made it real dark; and they didn’t go against his word, no cap.
He turned their waters into blood, and wiped out their fish.
Their land was popping off with frogs everywhere, even in the kings' pads.
He spoke, and a whole squad of flies and lice showed up, no cap.
He sent hail instead of rain and lit up their land with fire.
He wrecked their vines and fig trees; broke all the trees in their hood.
He said the word, and locusts and caterpillars rolled in, like, a crazy amount.
They munched on all the herbs in their land and devoured the fruits, fr.
He took out all the firstborn in their land, the top tier of their strength.
He brought them out with silver and gold, and no one was weak in their crew.
Egypt was vibing when they dipped, 'cause they were shook of them.
He spread a cloud for shade and fire to light up the night, periodt.
The people asked, and he delivered quails, satisfying them with heavenly bread.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river. No cap, that's wild.
For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. Periodt.
And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness: vibes on vibes.
And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people; that’s major rizz.
That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord. This is lit.
