Gen Z: Isaiah 46
Bel’s bowing down, Nebo’s slouching, their idols are riding on the beasts, and the whips are heavy, no cap; they’re a whole vibe for the tired animals.
They’re all bent over, bowing together; can’t even handle the load, and they’re just stuck in captivity, fr.
Yo, listen up, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of Israel, I got you since the womb, carrying you like a boss.
Even when you’re old, I’m still here; even with gray hairs, I got your back: I made you, I’ll carry you, and I’ll deliver you, periodt.
Who you tryna compare me to? Like, what’s the vibe? Ain’t no one like me, fr.
They flex gold from the bag, weigh silver, hire a goldsmith, and make it a god; then they just worship it, sus.
They carry him on their shoulders, set him up, and he just stands there; can’t move or answer when they call, savage.
Remember this, and step up, fam: think about it again, you transgressors.
Don’t forget the old school stuff: I’m God, and there’s no one else; I’m God, and no one compares, fr.
I’m calling shots from the start to the finish, dropping truth from way back; my plans are solid, and I’ll do what I want.
Calling a hungry bird from the east, the dude who’s executing my plans from far away: I said it, I’m making it happen; I’m all in on this.
Listen up, you tough-hearted folks, far from what’s right:
I’m bringing my righteousness close; it’s not far away, and my salvation’s on the way; I’m placing it in Zion for Israel, my glory.
