Gen Z: Genesis 39
So Joseph got sent to Egypt, and Potiphar, a big deal in Pharaoh's crew, scooped him up from the Ishmaelites. Major plot twist.
The Lord was vibing with Joseph, and he was thriving in his master’s crib.
Potiphar noticed the Lord was all over Joseph, making everything he touched straight-up succeed.
Joseph got mad respect from Potiphar and started running the whole house. Everything was in his hands.
It was lit because once Joseph was in charge, the Lord blessed Potiphar's pad just for him; everything was bussin’ in the house and fields.
Potiphar trusted Joseph with everything, not even worried except for what he was munching on. Joseph was straight-up a good dude, no cap.
Then Potiphar’s wife started eyeing Joseph and was like, "Yo, come chill with me."
But he was like, "Nah fam, my boss doesn’t even know what’s poppin’ in the house, and he gave me all the responsibility."
I’m the GOAT in this house; he only held back you, his wife. How can I do this savage thing and sin against God?
She kept trying to get at him every single day, but he wasn’t having it—no lying down or hanging out with her.
So, like, Joseph rolled into the crib to handle his biz, and no dudes were around, fr.
She grabbed his drip, saying, "Come chill with me," but he bounced, leaving his fit behind.
When she peeped that he left his drip, she was like, "No way, he just dipped!"
She called the homies over, saying, "Yo, this Hebrew dude came to roast us; he tried to chill with me, and I screamed, no cap!"
When he heard me scream, he ditched his drip and bolted outta there, fr.
She kept his drip close until her man got home, periodt.
She told him, "The Hebrew servant you brought in tried to roast me!"
I screamed, and he left his drip and ran out, no cap.
When her dude heard what she said, he got super mad, like, "What’s good?"
So, Joseph’s boss tossed him in prison, where the king's prisoners were locked up; he was stuck there for a minute.
But the Lord was vibin' with Joseph, showing him mercy and giving him mad favor with the prison warden.
The warden handed over all the prisoners to Joseph; whatever went down, he was the one making it happen.
The warden didn't even sweat the small stuff because the Lord was with him, and everything he did was straight bussin'.
