Gen Z: Ezekiel 8
So, like, in the sixth year, sixth month, fifth day, I was chilling at my crib with the elders of Judah, and boom, the Lord's hand hit me with some serious vibes.
I peeped, and it was like fire vibes: fire from the waist down, and from the waist up, it was all bright and amber-like, no cap.
Then He reached out a hand, grabbed my hair, and lifted me up between earth and heaven, bringing me to God’s visions in Jerusalem, right at the inner gate looking north, where the jealousy image was chilling.
And for real, the glory of the God of Israel was there, just like I saw in the vision on the plain, straight fire.
He was like, "Yo, son of man, check out the north." So I looked north and saw that jealousy image at the altar gate entrance, it was sus.
He asked me, "Son of man, you see what they’re doing? All these savage abominations Israel's pulling here? Like, am I just gonna chill far from my sanctuary? Look again, it gets wilder."
He took me to the court door, and when I glanced, I saw a hole in the wall, lowkey interesting.
Then He told me, "Yo, son of man, dig in that wall." So I dug, and guess what? A door appeared, lit.
He said, "Go in and peep the wicked abominations they’re doing here."
I stepped in and saw all sorts of creepy things, nasty beasts, and idols of Israel painted all over the walls, total chaos.
There were seventy old-school dudes from Israel’s house chilling, and Jaazaniah, Shaphan's son, was there with a censer, and a thick cloud of incense was rising, vibes.
Then He asked me, "Son of man, you seen what the old heads do in the dark, each in their secret spots? They think the Lord’s not watching and that He’s ghosted the earth."
He told me again, "Look again, you’ll see even crazier abominations they're up to."
Then He took me to the gate of the Lord's house facing north, and I saw women crying for Tammuz, total feels.
He asked, "You seen this, son of man? Look again, you’ll catch even more savage stuff than this."
He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house, and at the temple door, between the porch and altar, there were about twenty-five dudes with their backs to the temple, worshipping the sun towards the east, major sus vibes.
Then He said, "You seen this, son of man? Is it chill for Judah to do all these abominations? They’ve filled the land with violence and made me mad, like, they’re putting branches to their noses, fr."
So I’m about to deal with some fury: I won’t hold back, no pity. Even if they scream in my ears, I won’t hear them, periodt.
