Gen Z: Exodus 31
And the Lord was like, "Moses, listen up,"
"Yo, I’ve called Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur from Judah, no cap:"
"I’ve filled him with God’s vibes, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and mad skills,"
"To create some sick work, working with gold, silver, and brass,"
"And cutting stones, setting them, carving wood, just pure craftsmanship."
"Also, I got Aholiab, son of Ahisamach from Dan, working with him: I’ve dropped wisdom in the hearts of the wise so they can create everything I told you to."
"The tabernacle, the ark of testimony, the mercy seat, and all the tabernacle vibes,"
"And the table with its stuff, the pure candlestick and all its gear, and the incense altar,"
"And the burnt offering altar with all its gear, plus the laver and its stand,"
"And the service cloths, the holy fits for Aaron the priest, and the fits for his sons to serve."
"And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: they gotta do all that I said."
And the Lord was like, "Moses, hear me out,"
"Tell the Israelites, for real, keep my sabbaths: it’s a sign between us for all time; you gotta know I’m the Lord who makes you holy."
"Keep the sabbath, it’s holy for you: anyone who messes it up is done; if you work on that day, you’re cut off from your people."
"You can work for six days, but the seventh is a chill sabbath, holy to the Lord: if you work on that day, you’re out."
"So, the Israelites gotta keep the sabbath, observe it forever, it’s a lasting deal."
"It’s a sign between me and the Israelites forever: in six days, the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh, He kicked back and felt refreshed."
"And when He finished talking to Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him two stone tablets, written by God’s finger."
