Gen Z: Psalms 76
In Judah, God’s got the vibes on lock; His name is straight-up legendary in Israel.
In Salem, His tabernacle’s chillin’, and His crib’s in Zion.
He broke the arrows, the shields, and the swords like, “This battle’s sus.” Selah.
You’re way more glorious and lit than those mountains that hunt.
The bold ones are totally wrecked, knocked out for real; none of the tough guys even woke up.
At your clapback, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are in a deep sleep.
You, for real, are to be feared; who can stand in your presence when you’re mad?
You made judgment drop from heaven; the earth was shook and went silent,
When God stood up for judgment to save all the humble on the earth. Selah.
For sure, the anger of man will praise you; the leftover anger, you’ll keep in check.
Make a promise and deliver to the Lord your God; let everyone around Him bring gifts to the one who deserves respect.
He’ll cut off the spirit of princes; He’s a savage to the kings of the earth.
