Gen Z: Psalms 71
I'm putting my trust in you, Lord, no cap; don't let me catch any confusion vibes.
Save me with your rizz, Lord; listen to me and help me escape this mess.
You’re my strong spot, where I can chill; you got my back, 'cause you’re my rock and fortress.
Rescue me, God, from the wicked ones and the savage peeps trying to take me down.
You're my hope, Lord God; I’ve trusted you since day one, fr.
You've had my back since I was born; my praise for you is gonna be non-stop.
I'm a whole vibe to many, but you’re my solid refuge.
Fill my mouth with your praise and honor all day long, periodt.
Don’t ditch me when I’m old; don’t leave me hanging when I’m weak.
My enemies are talking smack about me, plotting together against my soul.
They’re saying you’ve ghosted me; come for him, 'cause no one’s there to save him.
Yo God, don’t be far from me; hurry up and help me out!
Let my enemies be put to shame; cover them with reproach for trying to hurt me.
But I’m gonna keep hoping and praising you more and more.
My mouth will shout your righteousness and salvation all day; I can’t even count it.
I'm rolling in the strength of the Lord God, mentioning your righteousness all the time.
You’ve schooled me since I was young, and I’ve shared your amazing works.
Even when I’m old and gray, don’t bail on me, God; I wanna show your strength to the next gen.
Your righteousness is lit, God; you’ve done epic things; who’s like you?
You’ve put me through tough times, but you’ll lift me up again from the depths.
You’re gonna boost my greatness and comfort me all around.
I’ll praise you with the psaltery, keeping it real with your truth, God; I’ll sing with the harp, Holy One of Israel.
My lips will be hyped when I sing to you; my soul, which you’ve redeemed.
My tongue will talk about your righteousness all day long; my enemies are gonna be confused and ashamed for trying to hurt me.
