Gen Z: Psalms 108
Yo God, my heart's locked in; I’m gonna sing and flex my praise, even with my glory.
Rise up, psaltery and harp: I’m waking up early, no cap.
I’ll praise you, Lord, in front of the squad: gonna sing praises among the nations, fr.
Your mercy is mad high, like above the heavens: your truth hits the clouds, periodt.
Be lifted up, God, above the heavens: your glory is straight up above the whole earth;
That your faves may be saved: save with your right hand, and hit me back.
God spoke in his holiness; I’m hype, I’ll split Shechem, and handle the valley of Succoth.
Gilead’s mine; Manasseh’s mine; Ephraim’s the strength of my crew; Judah’s my lawgiver;
Moab’s my washpot; gonna toss my shoe over Edom; I’ll flex on Philistia.
Who’s gonna take me into the strong city? Who’s gonna lead me into Edom?
Aren’t you, God, who’s ditched us? Will you not go out with our squad?
Give us help when it gets tough: 'cause man’s help is sus.
Through God, we’ll pop off: he’s the one who’ll stomp our enemies.
