Proverbs 31

Gen Z: Proverbs 31

1Lemuel's mom dropped some wisdom, and he's just sharing that prophecy, no cap.

2What's good, my dude? What’s up, my flesh and blood? What’s poppin', my pledge?

3Don’t waste your strength on women, or get caught up in stuff that wrecks kings, fr.

4Yo, kings shouldn’t be sippin’ wine, and princes gotta chill with that strong drink, periodt.

5'Cause if they drink, they’ll forget the rules and mess up the justice for the people in need, no cap.

6Give that strong drink to those who are struggling, and wine to the ones with heavy hearts, vibe check.

7Let 'em drink and forget their struggles, so they don’t remember their pain anymore, lit.

8Speak up for those who can't, especially for the ones headed for a rough time, no cap.

9Use your voice to judge right and help the poor and needy, that’s the move.

10Who can find a goated woman? Her value is way above rubies, fr.

11Her hubby trusts her fully, so he ain't worried about no drama.

12She’s always got his back, no cap, all day, every day.

13She’s out here hustlin’ for wool and flax, workin’ hard with her hands.

14She’s like a boss merchant ship, bringing in the good eats from far away.

15She’s up before the sun, feeding her fam and making sure the squad is good.

16She scopes out a field and buys it; with her grind, she plants a vineyard.

17She’s flexin’ her strength and getting those gains in her arms.

18She knows her hustle is on point; her vibe stays lit even at night.

19She’s got her hands on the spindle, working hard like a queen.

20She reaches out to the less fortunate, no hesitation, always ready to help.

21She ain't worried 'bout the snow for her fam: her whole crew's dripped in red vibes.

22She makes herself dope tapestries; her fits are silk and royal purple, no cap.

23Her hubby's a big deal at the gates, chillin' with the OGs of the land.

24She crafts fine linen and sells it; even hooks up the merchants with those belts.

25Strength and honor are her drip; she’s gonna flex in the future, periodt.

26She speaks wisdom like a queen; her words are all about that kindness rizz.

27She keeps it real with her household, never munching on that lazy bread.

28Her kids rise up and call her blessed; her man also gives her mad props.

29Many daughters are out here doing their thing, but you’re the GOAT, no cap.

30Charm's sus, and beauty fades: but a woman who fears the Lord? She’s getting all the praise.

31Give her the credit for her grind; let her hustle get the applause at the gates, fr.

KJV: Proverbs 31

1The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.

2What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?

3Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

4It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

5Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

6Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

7Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.

8Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.

9Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

14She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
