Gen Z: Numbers 6
And the Lord was like, "Yo Moses, check it."
Tell the peeps of Israel, "If anyone wants to vibe as a Nazarite and be all about the Lord, do your thing."
They gotta stay away from wine and strong drinks, no cap—no vinegar or grape juice either, just chill.
For the whole time they're on this journey, no vine stuff, from the seeds to the skins, just straight up.
No razors allowed on their head while they're on this mission; they gotta let their hair grow out, fr.
While they're vibing with the Lord, no touching dead bodies, that's just sus.
They can't get dirty for their fam when they pass away, 'cause they're set apart for God, periodt.
For all the days they're separated, they're holy to the Lord, no doubt.
If someone dies suddenly near them and messes with their holy vibe, they gotta shave their head on cleansing day, which is on the seventh day.
On day eight, they bring two turtles or two young pigeons to the priest at the tabernacle door, that's how it goes.
The priest's gotta offer one for sin and another for burn vibes, making it right for him 'cause he messed up with the dead, and he’s gotta bless his head that day.
He’s gonna set apart some days for the Lord and bring a lit lamb for a trespass offering, but the days before are a no-go 'cause his separation got sus.
This is the Nazarite law: when his separation days are done, he rolls up to the tabernacle door.
He’s bringing a flawless first-year lamb for a burn offering, another flawless ewe lamb for a sin offering, and a flawless ram for peace offerings, all goated.
And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes mixed with oil, and wafers anointed with oil, plus their meat and drink offerings, all bussin.
The priest’s bringing them before the Lord and offering his sin and burn vibes.
He’s offering the ram for peace vibes to the Lord with that basket of unleavened bread; the priest’s also doing his meat and drink offerings.
The Nazarite’s gonna shave his head at the tabernacle door, taking the hair and tossing it in the fire under the peace offerings.
The priest’s taking the cooked shoulder of the ram, one unleavened cake, and one wafer, putting them in the Nazarite's hands after he’s shaved his head.
The priest’s gonna wave them as a wave offering before the Lord: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder; after that, the Nazarite can sip some wine.
This is the rule for the Nazarite who’s all in, and what he’s offering to the Lord for his glow-up, based on what he can hustle: he’s gotta stick to the vibe of his promise.
And the Lord hit up Moses, saying,
Tell Aaron and his crew, like this you should bless the kids of Israel, saying to them,
The Lord bless you, and keep you lit:
The Lord make His face shine on you, and be all kinds of gracious to you:
The Lord lift you up, and give you that peace vibe.
And they’ll put my name on the kids of Israel; and I’ll bless them, no cap.
