Gen Z: Numbers 30
Moses hit up the tribe leaders, telling them, "Yo, this is what the Lord said we gotta do."
If a dude makes a promise to the Lord or swears an oath, he better not ghost it; he needs to keep it 100.
If a girl makes a promise to the Lord while living at her dad's crib,
and her dad hears her promise but stays chill about it, then all her promises are legit, no cap.
But if her dad shuts it down when he hears it, none of her promises will count, and the Lord will let her slide since her dad said no.
If she’s got a husband when she makes a promise or says something that binds her soul,
and her husband hears it but stays quiet, then her promises are good, and her bonds are solid.
But if her husband says nah when he hears it, then her promise goes poof, and the Lord will forgive her.
Every promise from a widow or a divorced woman is still on her, no cap.
If she made a promise in her husband's pad or bound her soul with an oath,
and her husband heard it and didn’t say anything, then all her promises stick, and her bonds are on lock.
But if her husband totally cancels them when he hears them, then whatever she said about her vows won’t count; he made them void, and the Lord will forgive her.
Every vow and every oath to affect her soul can be backed by her husband or he can cancel it, no cap.
But if he stays silent about it day after day, then he’s confirming all her promises and bonds since he didn’t say anything when he heard them.
If he decides to cancel them after hearing them, then he’s gotta take the blame for her mess.
These are the rules the Lord gave Moses about a man and his wife, and a dad and his daughter while she's still living at home.
