Gen Z: Mark 5
They rolled up to the other side of the sea, straight into the land of the Gadarenes.
As soon as he stepped off the boat, this dude with a wild vibe from the tombs came at him.
Bro was living in the tombs; no one could tie him down, not even with chains, fr.
He had been tied up before, but he just broke free like it was nothing; no one could handle him.
Always, day and night, he was in the mountains and tombs, screaming and cutting himself with rocks, no cap.
But when he spotted Jesus from a distance, he sprinted over and worshipped him, lit.
He shouted loud, "What’s good, Jesus, Son of the most high God? Please don’t mess with me!"
Jesus told him, "Get out of the man, you unclean spirit."
Jesus asked him, "What’s your name?" He replied, "My name is Legion, 'cause there’s a whole squad in me."
He begged Jesus a lot, asking him not to send them away from the land.
So there were mad pigs chillin' by the mountains, just vibin' and eatin'.
All the demons were like, "Yo, send us into the pigs so we can bounce in there."
Jesus was like, "Bet," and the unclean spirits dipped into the pigs, and they straight-up ran off a cliff into the sea, like, two thousand of 'em, and got wrecked.
The pig herders freaked out and ran to the city and the countryside, telling everyone what just went down.
They came to Jesus and saw the dude who was possessed, now chillin' and dressed right, and they were shook.
Those who saw it spilled the tea about what happened to the possessed guy and the pigs.
They started begging him to bounce outta their area.
When he hopped in the boat, the guy who got freed from the demons was like, "Please let me roll with you."
But Jesus was like, "Nah fam, go back to your crew and tell them all the lit stuff the Lord did for you and how he showed you love."
So he dipped and started spreading the word in Decapolis about all the amazing things Jesus did for him, and everyone was straight-up amazed.
So Jesus pulls up on the other side of the sea, and mad people show up to vibe with him.
Then this dude, Jairus, who’s like a big deal at the synagogue, sees him and just drops to his feet, no cap.
He’s like, “My little girl is on her last leg; please come through and lay your hands on her so she can bounce back.”
Jesus is like, “Bet,” and a whole crowd rolls with him, all hyped.
Then there’s this woman who’s been dealing with a blood issue for twelve years, straight up savage.
She’s tried everything and spent all her cash, but nothing worked; it just got worse, fr.
When she heard about Jesus, she slid through the crowd and touched his clothes.
She thought, “If I can just touch his drip, I’ll be healed.”
Right away, her blood flow stopped, and she felt that she was healed from that struggle.
Jesus, knowing that some good vibes had left him, turned around and asked, “Who just touched my drip?”
The squad was like, "Yo, there's a whole crowd around you, and you wanna know who touched you? That's sus."
He looked around, trying to spot the one who pulled that move.
But the woman, shook and scared, knowing what went down, came and dropped all the tea in front of him.
He said, "Daughter, your faith is goated; just vibe in peace and be free from your issues."
While he was still talking, some peeps from the synagogue boss's crib came through, saying, "Your daughter is gone; why bother the Master anymore?"
As soon as Jesus heard that, he told the synagogue ruler, "Chill, just believe, no cap."
He only let Peter, James, and John roll with him, keeping it tight.
He got to the synagogue boss's house and saw the chaos, with people crying and wailing hard.
When he walked in, he was like, "Why all this drama? The girl ain't dead, she's just napping."
They straight-up laughed at him. But he kicked them all out, took the girl's parents, and went to where she was chilling.
He grabbed the girl’s hand and said, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Yo, girl, get up.”
And she popped up and walked, 'cause she was only twelve. Everyone was shook, like, “No cap, this is wild!”
He told them to keep it on the low and said to get her some food, 'cause she was hungry.
