Gen Z: Leviticus 5
If someone messes up and hears some tea about swearing, and they’re a witness, but don’t spill it, they gotta own their wrongs.
If someone touches something gross, like a dead animal or something sus, and they didn’t know, they’re still unclean and guilty, no cap.
If they touch a person’s unclean vibes, whatever it is, and it’s hidden from them, once they realize, they’re guilty, fr.
If someone swears to do something shady or good, and it’s hidden, once they find out, they’re guilty for sure.
When they realize they messed up in any of these ways, they gotta confess, periodt.
They should bring their offering to the Lord for their sin, like a female lamb or goat; the priest will handle the atonement for their wrongs.
If they can’t bring a lamb, they can bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the Lord; one for sin and one for a burnt offering, bet.
They gotta take them to the priest, who will offer the sin offering first, wring off the head, but not split it in two.
The priest will sprinkle the blood of the sin offering on the altar; the rest of the blood gets poured out at the bottom: it’s a sin offering, lit.
The second bird is for a burnt offering, and the priest will atone for their sin, and it’ll be forgiven, no cap.
If they can’t bring two turtledoves or pigeons, they can bring a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering, no oil or frankincense allowed.
They bring it to the priest, who takes a handful and burns it on the altar as a sin offering.
The priest will atone for them concerning their sin, and it’ll be forgiven; the leftover is for the priest as a meat offering.
Then the Lord tells Moses, "Listen up."
If someone commits a trespass and sins by mistake in the holy things of the Lord, they gotta bring a perfect ram as a trespass offering.
They gotta fix the harm they did in the holy thing, add a fifth to it, and give it to the priest, who will atone for them with the ram, and it’ll be forgiven.
If someone sins and does forbidden things from the Lord’s commandments, even if they didn’t know, they’re still guilty and gotta own it.
They should bring a perfect ram from their flock for a trespass offering to the priest; the priest will atone for their ignorance, and it’ll be forgiven.
It’s a trespass offering: they definitely messed up against the Lord, fr.
