Gen Z: Job 4
Eliphaz the Temanite stepped up and was like,
If we vibe and chat, you gonna be mad? But for real, who can keep quiet?
Yo, you’ve schooled a lot of peeps and lifted up the weak ones.
Your words have saved those who were down, and you’ve boosted the shaky knees.
But now it’s hitting you, and you’re all stressed; it’s got you feeling some type of way.
Isn’t this your fear, your trust, your hope, and your straight-up ways?
Just think, who’s ever gone down when they were innocent? Where have the good folks been cut off?
From what I’ve seen, those who sow bad vibes, they get that same energy back.
They get wrecked by God’s power, and His breath just wipes them out.
The lion’s roar, the fierce lion’s voice, and the young lions’ teeth are all broken.
The old lion’s out here starving, and the strong lion’s cubs are scattered.
I got a secret dropped on me, and my ears caught a little of it.
When the night hits and deep sleep rolls in, I was trippin’ on thoughts.
Fear hit me hard, and I was shaking like a leaf.
Then a spirit cruised by my face; my skin was on edge.
It was chillin’, but I couldn’t see what it was: just a vibe in front of me, and I heard a voice say,
Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a dude be cleaner than his creator?
For real, He doesn’t even trust His angels; He calls them out on their mess.
How much less those living in clay houses, built on dust, crushed like nothing?
They’re done from dawn to dusk: they fade out for good without anyone noticing.
Doesn’t their greatness just dip? They’re gone, and it’s all without wisdom.
