Gen Z: Job 37
My heart’s low-key shook, like it’s vibin' outta place.
Listen up to the noise of his voice, it’s lit when he speaks.
He directs it all over the skies, and his lightning hits everywhere.
After that, a voice roars: he thunders with mad rizz; he won’t chill when his voice drops.
God thunders like a boss with his voice; he does big things that we can’t even wrap our heads around.
He’s like, “Snow, you stay on the ground,” and the rain, both small and heavy, shows up, no cap.
He locks down every dude’s hands; so everyone knows his work is goated.
Then the animals dip into their dens and just chill there.
A whirlwind comes from the south, and cold vibes roll in from the north.
By God’s breath, frost is a thing; the waters get all tight.
He makes the thick clouds tired from watering; he scatters his bright clouds like a savage.
It’s all turned around by his plans: they do whatever he says on this world.
He brings it all, whether for correction, for the land, or just for mercy.
Listen up, Job: chill for a sec and think about the wild works of God.
Do you know when God set those up and made the light from his clouds shine?
Do you know how the clouds balance out, the dope works of him who’s perfect in knowledge?
How are your clothes warm when he calms the earth with the south wind?
Did you help him spread out the sky, which is strong like a dope mirror?
Teach us what to say to him; we can’t even talk straight 'cause it’s dark.
Should I tell him I’m speaking? If a dude talks, he might just get swallowed up.
And now people can’t see the bright light in the clouds: the wind blows and clears them out.
Good vibes come from the north: God’s majesty is straight-up terrifying.
About the Almighty, we can’t figure him out: he’s lit in power, judgment, and justice; he won’t mess with you.
So people fear him: he doesn’t care about those who think they’re wise.
