Gen Z: Job 27
Job keeps it real and says,
"As God lives, who took my judgment; and the Almighty, who’s been messing with my vibes;
While my breath is still here, and God's spirit is in my nostrils;
My lips won’t spill any wickedness, nor will my tongue drop lies.
No cap, I won’t justify you: till I die, I’m keeping my integrity on lock.
I’m holding onto my rizz, and I won’t let it go: my heart won’t call me out as long as I’m alive.
Let my enemy be like the wicked, and those who rise against me be the unrighteous.
What’s the hope of a fake, even if they stack up? When God takes their soul, it’s game over.
Will God even hear their cry when trouble hits?
Will they vibe with the Almighty? Will they keep calling on God?
I’ll teach you what God says: I won’t hide what’s with the Almighty.
Look, you’ve all seen it; so why are you acting all vain?
This is the fate of a wicked person with God, and the legacy of oppressors they’ll get from the Almighty.
If their kids multiply, it’s for the sword: and their offspring won’t be satisfied with bread.
Those left behind will get buried in death: and their widows won’t even cry.
Even if they stack silver like dust, and prepare clothes like clay;
They can get it ready, but the righteous will wear it, and the innocent will split the silver.
They build their house like a moth, and like a tent the keeper sets up.
The rich will lie down, but they won’t be gathered: they open their eyes, and they’re just gone.
Terrors grab at them like waters, a storm sweeps them away in the night.
The east wind carries them off, and they’re outta here: like a storm tossing them from their spot.
For God will throw down on them, and won’t hold back: they’d wish to escape from His grip.
People will clap for them, and hiss them out of their spot.
