Gen Z: Jeremiah 33
Yo, the Lord hit up Jeremiah again while he was locked up in the prison vibes, saying,
The Lord, the one who made everything, is like, “That’s my name, fr.”
He’s like, “Call me up, and I’ll drop some major knowledge that you don’t even know about.”
The Lord, God of Israel, is spilling the tea about the houses in this city and the kings of Judah, which are totally wrecked.
They’re coming to throw down with the Chaldeans, but it’s just to stack up bodies from my anger, no cap.
Check it, I’m bringing them health and healing, and I’ll show them all the peace and truth that’s bussin’.
I’m bringing Judah and Israel back from the struggle, and I’ll build them up like the good old days.
I’ll wipe their slate clean from all the bad stuff they did against me; I’m forgiving all of it, periodt.
This is gonna be a big deal, a joy and honor before all the nations that hear the good stuff I’m doing for them; they’ll be shook.
The Lord says, “Again, in this spot that y’all think is a ghost town with no peeps or animals, there’s gonna be life again.”
The vibes of joy and gladness are lit, with the bride and groom saying, "Praise the Lord of hosts, 'cause He’s good and His mercy's forever, no cap." They’re bringing that praise to the Lord's crib. I’m bringing back the good times like it was in the beginning, says the Lord.
The Lord’s like, "Bet, in this empty place, where it’s just vibes, there’ll be shepherds chillin' with their flocks."
In the mountain cities, the valleys, and the south, in Benjamin and around Jerusalem, the flocks will be back under the care of the one who’s got the rizz, says the Lord.
Yo, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I’ll do that good thing I promised to Israel and Judah.
In those days, I’ll make the Branch of righteousness grow up for David; He’s gonna pop off with judgment and righteousness in the land.
Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will be safe; she’ll be called, "The Lord our righteousness," periodt.
For real, the Lord says David will always have someone on the throne of Israel.
And the Levite priests will always have someone before me to offer burnt offerings and keep it going, no doubt.
The word of the Lord hit up Jeremiah, saying,
The Lord says, "If you can break my day and night vibe, and if there’s no day and night in their season, then we’ll talk."
If my deal with David ain't solid, then he ain't getting a kid to chill on his throne; same with the Levites, my squad.
Just like you can't count the stars or measure the beach sand, I'm gonna level up David's fam and the Levites who roll with me.
Then the Lord hit up Jeremiah with a message, saying,
You peep what these people are saying? They're like, "God ditched the two fams He picked." They low-key dissing my crew, acting like they ain't a nation anymore.
The Lord's saying, if my vibe ain't with day and night, and if I ain't set the rules for the sky and ground;
Then I'm dropping Jacob's fam and David's crew, so none of them will be in charge of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob's squad: I'm bringing them back from their struggles and showing them mercy.
