Gen Z: Isaiah 55
Yo, if you’re thirsty, pull up to the waters, and if you’re broke, come through, munch on some good stuff; like, get that wine and milk for free, no cap.
Why you spending dough on snacks that don’t hit? Grindin’ for stuff that don’t satisfy? Listen up, eat what’s good, and let your soul vibe with the good stuff.
Tune in and roll up to me: hear this, and your soul will thrive; I’m making a forever promise with you, just like the dope mercy I showed David.
Check it, I made him a witness for the squad, a boss and leader for the people.
Bet, you’ll call a nation you don’t even know, and nations that don’t know you will come running to you 'cause of the Lord your God; He’s got you looking goated.
Find the Lord while He’s around, hit Him up while He’s close.
Let the wicked ditch their ways, and the unrighteous the sus thoughts; come back to the Lord, and He’ll show mad mercy; our God is all about that forgiveness.
My thoughts ain’t your thoughts, and my ways ain’t your ways, says the Lord, fr.
Just like the skies are way higher than the ground, my ways are on another level than yours, and my thoughts are lit compared to yours.
Just like rain falls down and snow from heaven, and doesn’t bounce back, but waters the earth and makes it grow, giving seeds to the sower and bread to the muncher:
So will my word be that goes out of my mouth: it won’t come back empty, it’ll do what I want, and it’ll pop off where I sent it.
You’ll bounce out with joy and be led in peace: the mountains and hills will be singing, and all the trees will be clapping for you.
Instead of thorns, there’ll be fir trees, and instead of briars, there’ll be myrtle trees: this will be for the Lord’s name, an everlasting sign that won’t get cut off.
