Gen Z: Isaiah 20
In the year Tartan rolled up on Ashdod, Sargon, the Assyrian king, sent him to throw down and take it.
At the same time, the Lord hit up Isaiah, son of Amoz, saying, "Yo, take off that sackcloth and ditch your shoes." So he did, walking around all naked and barefoot, no cap.
And the Lord was like, "Just like my dude Isaiah has been walking around naked and barefoot for three years, that’s a sign for Egypt and Ethiopia, fr."
So, the king of Assyria is gonna lead the Egyptians away as prisoners, and the Ethiopians too, young and old, all naked and barefoot, just straight-up exposed, making Egypt look sus.
They gonna be shook and embarrassed about Ethiopia being their hope, and Egypt being their glory.
And the people on this island will say on that day, "Look at our expectations, where we run for help to get outta the grip of the king of Assyria: how we gonna bounce?"
