Gen Z: Isaiah 17
Damascus is totally ghosted as a city, now it's just a wreck. Major vibes.
Aroer's cities are left in the dust; they're just chillin' for flocks, no fears here.
Ephraim's fortress is donezo, and Damascus is out; the remnant of Syria is just a shadow of Israel's glory, says the Lord.
That day, Jacob's glory is gonna be looking skinny, like, no cap, he’s losing that weight.
It’s like when a harvest dude gathers corn, just flexing with those ears in the Rephaim valley.
But some grapes will still be left, like when you shake an olive tree, just a few berries up top, God’s got the lowdown.
On that day, a man will peep his Maker, eyes on the Holy One of Israel, fr.
He won't be checking out his own altars or whatever he made; those vibes are sus.
His strong cities will be like a forgotten branch, left behind by Israel’s kids, total desolation.
You forgot the God who saves you, and now you're planting pretty plants with some sketchy slips, periodt.
On that day, you’ll try to make your plant grow, but morning brings a sad harvest, just a pile of grief.
Yikes to the crowd making noise like the seas; nations rushing like mighty waters, straight chaotic.
Nations will rush like wild waters, but God’s gonna shut that down, they’ll bounce like chaff in the wind.
And look, trouble's coming at night; by morning, it's gone. That’s what happens to those who mess with us.
