Gen Z: Genesis 12
God was like, "Yo Abram, bounce from your hood and fam, I'm sending you to a new spot I’ll show you."
"I’m gonna make you a lit nation, bless you, and your name’s gonna be legendary; you’ll be a whole vibe."
"Anyone who’s got your back, I got their back too, but if you come at them, it’s on; all the fams on Earth will be blessed through you."
So Abram dipped out, just like God told him, and Lot rolled with him. Abram was 75 when he left Haran, no cap.
Abram grabbed Sarai, his wifey, Lot, and all their stuff they had stacked up, and they headed to Canaan, pulling up in that land.
Abram cruised through the land to Sichem, hitting the plain of Moreh. Canaanites were chilling there too.
God showed up to Abram and said, "I’m giving this land to your kids; build me an altar right here."
He moved to a mountain east of Beth-el, set up his tent with Beth-el on the west and Hai on the east, built an altar for God, and prayed.
Abram kept it moving, heading south, just vibing.
There was a major famine in the land, so Abram dipped to Egypt to chill for a bit; the struggle was real out there.
So, when he was about to roll into Egypt, he told his wifey Sarai, "Yo, you fine AF."
He was like, "When the Egyptians see you, they’ll know you’re my wifey and I’m gonna be toast, but you’ll be chill."
Just say you’re my sis, and I’ll be good, fr; I’ll stay alive because of you.
When Abram hit Egypt, the Egyptians couldn’t help but notice how hot she was.
Pharaoh’s squad peeped her and hyped her up to Pharaoh; she got taken straight to his crib.
Abram got treated like a king because of her; he scored sheep, oxen, and a whole crew of servants.
But then God hit Pharaoh and his crew with some major plagues 'cause of Sarai, Abram’s wifey.
Pharaoh called Abram and asked, "What’s the deal? Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife?"
He was like, "Why say she’s my sister? I could’ve married her! Take your wife back and bounce."
Pharaoh told his guys to handle it, and they kicked him, his wifey, and all his stuff out.
