Gen Z: Ezekiel 21
Yo, the Lord hit me up, saying,
Bro, set your gaze on Jerusalem, spill the tea on the holy spots, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
Tell the land of Israel, "Listen up, the Lord's got beef with you; I’m pulling my sword out and cutting off the good and the bad."
So since I’m cutting off both the good and the bad, my sword's gonna pop off from the south to the north against everyone.
Everyone's gonna know that I, the Lord, have drawn my sword; it ain't going back in the sheath, no cap.
So, my dude, sigh like you just got hit with feels; show them that bitter vibe.
When they ask, "Why you sighing?" you gotta say, "It’s the news, fam; it’s coming, and it’s gonna hit hard—hearts melting, hands weak, spirits fainting, knees like water—trust, it’s happening," says the Lord God.
Again, the Lord slid into my DMs, saying,
Bro, prophesy and say, "The Lord says: A sword, a sword is getting sharpened and polished up."
It's sharpened for some serious business; it's shiny, but should we be laughing? It’s disrespecting my son like some random tree.
God’s got this sword all prepped and sharp, ready to hand it to the slayer. It’s vibin’ for sure.
Yo, son of man, it’s time to cry and howl! The sword's gonna hit my peeps and the princes of Israel hard, so smack that thigh, fr.
This is a test, and what if the sword even goes after the rod? It’s a wrap, says the Lord God.
So, son of man, prophesy, clap those hands, and let’s double down on that sword for the slain. It’s coming for the big shots in their secret spots.
I’m aiming this sword at all their gates, making their hearts weak and their ruins stack up. It’s shining bright and ready for the slaughter, no cap.
Pick a side, right or left, wherever your face is lookin’.
I’m gonna clap my hands too, and chill my fury. I, the Lord, said it, periodt.
The Lord hit me up again, saying,
Yo, son of man, set up two paths for the sword of Babylon to come through. Both are coming from the same land, so pick a spot at the start of the way to the city.
Set a way for the sword to roll up to Rabbath of the Ammonites and to Judah in Jerusalem, the fortified place.
The king of Babylon was chillin' at the crossroads, trying to vibe with some divination. He made his arrows pop and consulted some images, peeped the liver, no cap.
On his right, he was divining for Jerusalem, picking captains, getting loud for the slaughter, and ready to pop off with battering rams at the gates, building up a fort, you feel?
It’s gonna feel like a sus divination to them, especially those who swore oaths. But he’ll remember their wrongs, and they’re gonna get caught, fr.
So, the Lord God’s like, “Since you’ve made your sins known, and your transgressions are out in the open, your wrongs are gonna be seen. Just know, you’ll be caught, periodt.”
And you, wicked prince of Israel, your time has come, when the wrongs are about to end, bet.
The Lord God says, “Take off that crown and diadem; things ain’t gonna be the same. Lift up the low-key, and bring down the high-key.”
I’m about to flip it, flip it, flip it, and it won’t be the same until the one who deserves it comes; then I’ll hand it over, no cap.
And you, son of man, prophesy about the Ammonites and their drama; say, “The sword is drawn, ready to slay, and it’s all shiny and ready to consume.”
While they see nonsense from you, while they’re divining lies, they’re gonna bring you down with the slain, of the wicked, whose time is up, fr.
Am I gonna put it back in its sheath? I’ll judge you where you were made, in the land where you were born, periodt.
I'ma unleash my anger on you, blow fire vibes your way, and hand you over to some savage dudes who know how to wreck things.
You gonna be fuel for the flames; your blood's gonna be all over the place, and no one’s gonna remember you: that's the word from the Lord, no cap.
