Gen Z: Ecclesiastes 9
So I thought about all this and realized that the righteous, the wise, and their vibes are in God's hands: no one really knows love or hate with all that's going on.
Everything hits the same for everyone: one fate for the righteous and the wicked; for the good and the clean, and the sus; same for those who sacrifice and those who don’t: the good and the sinner are on the same level; same with the one who swears and the one who fears an oath.
This is lowkey a struggle under the sun, like one fate for all: the hearts of people are full of evil, and madness vibes with them while they live, then they just dip to the dead.
But if you’re still living, there’s hope: a living dog is way better than a dead lion, no cap.
The living know they’re gonna die: but the dead don’t know anything, and they’re not getting any rewards; their memories are just forgotten, periodt.
Their love, hate, and envy are all gone; they don’t get a piece of anything that goes down under the sun anymore.
Go eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a happy heart; God’s got your back on your works now.
Keep your fit fresh and your head always looking good, no cap.
Live it up with the wifey you love all the days of your life, which God gave you under the sun, because that’s your vibe in this life, and with all your hustle under the sun.
Whatever you find to do, do it with all your energy; because there’s no work, no plans, no knowledge, and no wisdom in the grave, where you’re headed.
I peeped again under the sun and saw that the race isn’t for the swift, nor the battle for the strong, nor bread for the wise, nor riches for the smart; time and chance hit everyone.
For man doesn’t know his time: like fish caught in a sus net, and birds trapped in a snare; that’s how people get snagged in a bad time when it hits them outta nowhere.
I also saw this wisdom under the sun, and it hit different:
There was a small city with few people, and a big king rolled up, besieged it, and built huge defenses against it.
There was a poor wise dude in the city, and with his wisdom, he saved the city; but no one remembered that poor guy.
Then I said, Wisdom is way better than strength: but the poor dude’s wisdom gets no love, and his words are just ignored.
Wise guys get heard in silence more than the shout of someone ruling over fools.
Wisdom is better than war weapons: but one sinner can mess up a lot of good.
