Gen Z: Deuteronomy 7
When the Lord your God brings you to the land you’re about to vibe with, and kicks out all those nations like the Hittites and Amorites, trust, they’re way stronger than you.
And when the Lord your God delivers them to you, you gotta smite them and wipe them out; no cap, don’t make any deals or show them mercy.
Don’t even think about marrying them; don’t give your daughter to their son, and don’t take their daughter for your son.
'Cause they’ll pull your kid away from me to serve other gods, and then the Lord’s anger will pop off, and you’ll be done for, fr.
Here’s how you roll with them: destroy their altars, smash their images, chop down their groves, and burn their idols like it’s nothing.
You’re a holy crew for the Lord your God: He picked you to be his special squad, above all other peeps on this planet.
The Lord didn’t choose you 'cause you were the biggest squad; you were actually the smallest, no cap.
But the Lord’s got mad love for you, and 'cause He keeps it real with the promise to your ancestors, He brought you out with some serious power, freeing you from the Pharaoh’s grip.
So know this: the Lord your God is the real deal, the faithful one who keeps His promises and shows mercy to those who love Him and follow His rules for a thousand generations.
And He’s gonna deal with those who hate Him right to their face; He won’t hold back on them, you feel me?
So, keep the commandments, rules, and vibes I’m dropping on you today, no cap.
If you listen up and follow these rules, the Lord your God will keep the covenant and mercy promised to your fam, periodt.
He’ll love you, bless you, and multiply your blessings: your kids, crops, wine, and oil will be straight up bussin, fr.
You’ll be blessed above everyone else; no one’s gonna be barren, not you or your livestock, that’s lit.
The Lord’s got your back, taking away all sickness, and none of those nasty diseases from Egypt will touch you, only the haters will catch that smoke.
You’ll wipe out all the people the Lord your God hands over to you; don’t feel bad for them or start vibing with their gods, that’ll just trap you.
If you’re thinking, “These nations are too many for me; how am I gonna take them out?”
Don’t sweat it; remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and all of Egypt, that’s the real deal.
The wild stuff you saw, the signs, wonders, and the mighty hand that brought you out? That’s how the Lord your God will handle all the people you’re worried about.
Plus, the Lord your God will send the hornet to mess them up until the ones left are completely done for.
Don't be shook by them: the Lord your God is with you, a total powerhouse, fr.
The Lord your God will slowly handle those nations for you: can't take them all out at once, or the wild animals might go wild.
But the Lord your God got you, He’ll serve them up for you, and wipe them out like a boss.
He’ll hand over their kings to you, and you’ll wipe their names from the map: no one can stand against you till you’ve taken them down.
Burn their idols with fire: don't even think about taking their silver or gold, or you'll get caught up in that mess; it's straight-up sus to the Lord your God.
Don’t bring any sus stuff into your crib, or you’ll end up cursed like it: hate that stuff with a passion, 'cause it’s bad vibes.
