Gen Z: Acts 20
After the chaos calmed down, Paul gathered the squad, gave them a big hug, and dipped to Macedonia.
He cruised through those areas, hyping them up a ton, then rolled into Greece.
He kicked it there for three months, but when the Jews were plotting against him while he was about to bounce to Syria, he decided to head back through Macedonia.
Rolling with him to Asia were Sopater from Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica, Gaius from Derbe, Timotheus, and Tychicus and Trophimus from Asia.
These guys went ahead and chilled for us at Troas.
We set sail from Philippi after the feast of unleavened bread and hit Troas in five days, where we stayed for a week.
On the first day of the week, when the crew gathered to break bread, Paul was preaching to them, getting ready to bounce the next day, and he kept going until midnight.
There were mad lights in the upper room where they were all chilling.
There was a young dude named Eutychus sitting by the window, totally zonked out; as Paul was preaching forever, he dozed off and fell from the third floor, and they found him dead.
Paul went down, hugged him, and said, "Don’t trip; he’s good, his life’s still in him."
So he rolled back up, broke bread, ate, and vibed till dawn, then he bounced.
They brought the young dude back alive, and everyone was feeling mad comforted.
We dipped to the ship and cruised to Assos, waiting to scoop up Paul, 'cause he was down to walk it.
When we linked up with him at Assos, we brought him along and hit up Mitylene.
We sailed out and the next day hit Chios; then the day after that, we made it to Samos and chilled at Trogyllium; next day, we rolled into Miletus.
Paul was trying to skip Ephesus 'cause he didn't wanna waste time in Asia; he was in a rush to make it to Jerusalem for Pentecost.
From Miletus, he texted Ephesus and called the church elders to pull up.
When they showed up, he said, "Y'all know from day one in Asia how I kept it real with you all the time."
Serving the Lord with all the humility vibes, and shedding tears, facing mad challenges from the Jews lurking around.
I held nothing back that was lit for you, but showed and taught you in public and from crib to crib.
I'm out here telling both the Jews and the Greeks to turn back to God and have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. No cap.
And now, check it, I'm headed to Jerusalem with my spirit on lock, not knowing what’s gonna pop off there.
But the Holy Ghost is out here warning me in every city that chains and struggles are coming my way.
But none of that fazes me, I’m just tryna finish my journey with joy and do the ministry I got from the Lord Jesus, sharing the gospel of God’s grace.
And now, for real, I know I won’t see your faces again since I’ve been out here preaching the kingdom of God.
So, I’m telling you straight up today, I'm clean from the blood of all people.
I didn’t hold back from sharing all of God’s wisdom with you.
So, watch yourselves and the whole crew, since the Holy Ghost made you the leaders to take care of God’s church, which He bought with His own blood.
I know this: after I bounce, some savage wolves will sneak in among you, not caring about the flock.
Even from your own crew, some will pop up, saying sus things to pull disciples away after them.
So peep this, I was out here warning y’all for three years straight, night and day, no cap, with mad tears.
Now fam, I’m handing you over to God and His vibes, which can level you up and hook you up with a lit inheritance with the squad.
I ain't ever tripped over no one's cash, bling, or drip.
For real, you know these hands have been grinding for what I needed and for my crew too.
I showed you how to put in work, support the weak, and remember Jesus said, it’s way better to give than to get, periodt.
After he said that, he dropped to his knees and prayed with everyone, no cap.
They were all crying hard, hugging Paul tight, and giving him some love.
They were feeling it most because he said they wouldn’t see his face again. Then they walked him to the ship.
