Gen Z: 1 Corinthians 4
Let people see us as Christ's squad and the keepers of God's secrets.
For real, it's a must for stewards to be found loyal.
Honestly, I don't care about your judgment or anyone else's; I ain't even judging myself.
I got no idea what's good with me; still, that don't mean I'm right—only the Lord can judge me.
So, hold off on judging until the time's right when the Lord shows what's been hidden and reveals the heart vibes; then everyone will get their props from God.
Yo, fam, I'm using myself and Apollos as examples so you can learn not to overrate anyone beyond what's written and keep it humble.
For real, who makes you different from someone else? What do you have that you didn't get? If you got it, why you flexing like you earned it?
Right now, you're all vibed up and living large like kings without us, and I wish you were ruling so we could roll with you.
I think God put us apostles last, like we're meant to be the underdogs; we're a show for the world, angels, and people.
We look like fools for Christ, but you guys are wise; we’re weak, but you're strong; you’re all that, while we get the short end of the stick.
Even now, we're hungry, thirsty, naked, beaten down, and have no stable spot to chill.
We're grinding with our hands: when people roast us, we bless; when they come for us, we take it.
When they diss us, we ask for peace; we're like the trash of the world and the leftovers of everything to this day.
I'm not saying this to shame you, but as my beloved fam, I'm giving you a heads up.
You might have a ton of teachers in Christ, but not many dads; I brought you into the fam through the gospel.
So, I'm asking you, follow my lead.
That's why I sent Timotheus, my beloved son and ride-or-die in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ, which I teach everywhere in every church.
Some of you are acting all high and mighty like I’m not coming through.
But I’m pulling up soon, if the Lord's down, and I’ll see what's good, not just the talk of the puffed-up, but the real power.
The kingdom of God ain't just talk; it's all about that power.
What do you want? Should I come with a stick or with love and chill vibes?
