1So, David and the squad split up to vibe with the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, who were gonna prophesy with harps, psalteries, and cymbals. The crew count was on point for their service.

2For the Asaph fam: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah, all under Asaph, flexing their rizz by prophesying just like the king wanted.

3For Jeduthun: his crew was Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six in total, under their dad Jeduthun, who was vibing with a harp, giving thanks and praising the Lord.

4For Heman: his squad included Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

5All these were Heman's kids, the king's seer, spreading the word of God, lifting up the horn. God blessed Heman with fourteen sons and three daughters, no cap.

6They were all under their dad for song in the Lord's house, rocking cymbals, psalteries, and harps, doing the God thing, just like the king told Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman to pop off.

7So, the total squad, including their homies who were lit at the songs of the Lord, was two hundred and eight.

8They threw down lots, ward against ward, whether small or great, teacher or scholar, no sus vibes.

9The first lot went to Asaph for Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, who had twelve with his crew.

10The third went to Zaccur, he and his crew were twelve as well.

11The fourth to Izri, him and his crew, were twelve: no cap.

12The fifth to Nethaniah, him and his squad, were twelve: lit.

13The sixth to Bukkiah, him and his fam, were twelve: bussin.

14The seventh to Jesharelah, him and his gang, were twelve: vibes.

1Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

2Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.

3Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.

4Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:

5All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

7So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the Lord, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

8And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
